Poetry Edition

The poetry is a reserved edition in our collection of 20 that houses only poetry from our many poets (with the exception of the cartoons). Every page of the edition shall be poetry, so study it, read it over, and think it over.

poem of the month – AUGUST 2026

The Process

For what do you wish?

Anything, be it a rock,

A toy, the loveliest dish.

Simply set down your mind

And walk through the mines,

Mining minds mired with memorabilia maximized.

For whom do you love?

Anyone, be they a siren,

A buoy, or perhaps a cove.

Springs spring warmth of comfort, that cove;

Listen not to the siren, though wisdom it may grant;

Perhaps the buoy may stay, still like a plant.

Nay, it is the process— by which erodes

The mine and enjoys the rind of the most

Bountiful. Your mind will not matter if you

Mind your matter, just as likewise.

The process will not teach you truth,

Nor will it discover it.

Your progression will be nothing,

as nothings are progress.

Never mind the minds that never matter,

For they never had.

The process matters not, but it is mine.

The process is present, ever matter.
